SpaceXAI, the AI arm of Elon Musk’s SpaceX, is weighing one paid plan that would span two products: Grok, its conversational AI, and X, the platform formerly called Twitter. The idea surfaced in a Bloomberg report on 30 September, which cites a document the outlet viewed. Nothing has been announced, and company representatives did not answer Bloomberg’s requests for comment.
According to that document, as Bloomberg describes it, the plan would have four tiers. The bottom rung would be free but would limit how much users can do with Grok. The top rung would be an “Ultra” tier at $100 a month, aimed at power users and bundling Grok Bot, the company’s AI agent. A cheaper “lite” option at $8 a month would add a verified checkmark and fewer ads on X to Grok access. Bloomberg does not describe the fourth tier.
Pricing matters here because Bloomberg says Musk’s conglomerate is competing hard with Anthropic and OpenAI while trying to win more business customers. A leaked document shows intent, not a price list, so any of these tiers could change before a launch, or never arrive.
