SpaceX Super Intelligence (SpaceXSI), the company’s new name per TechCrunch, has folded X Premium, the Grok chatbot and the Cursor coding tool into one paid plan called The X Subscription.
Five tiers exist: a free plan, Plus at $8 a month, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200. Usage caps for AI rise with each step up, and the latest Grok models need Premium or higher. The free tier gets only limited chat and agent use.
Current subscribers can switch from billing settings or keep their plan. The upgrade offer is rolling out gradually, and the report gives no regions or dates. For Premium+ subscribers, the company says the equivalent tier costs “the same or less”.
The report also does not explain how Cursor came to sit inside this company’s subscriptions, or who owns what.
A bundle is how a company with a built-in audience sells a product that struggles alone, and how incumbents defend against per-seat AI tools. Which one this is depends on the price, and the $8 and $30 tiers are the ones to judge. Premium+ holders should look for the upgrade prompt.
