Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of aiinsiders.net (the "Site"), the AI Insiders newsletter (the "Newsletter"), and any related services we operate (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Alessandro Benigni as AI Insiders ("AI Insiders", "we", "us", "our"), an independent United States-based editorial publication. For questions about these Terms, contact hello@aiinsiders.net.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. What the Service is
AI Insiders is a daily editorial publication covering the artificial-intelligence industry. The Service consists of: the website at aiinsiders.net and its archive of articles and newsletter editions; an email newsletter sent on publishing days; and a sponsorship offering described at /sponsor.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. Editorial decisions, including what to cover and how to cover it, are ours alone.
4. Newsletter subscription
You may subscribe to the Newsletter by submitting your email address through the signup form. Subscription is free. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any Newsletter email or by emailing hello@aiinsiders.net. By subscribing you authorise us to send you the Newsletter and operational messages related to your subscription. We do not send marketing emails unrelated to the Newsletter.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm us, other readers, our sponsors, or our service providers. Without limiting that obligation, you agree not to:
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy the Site or the Newsletter at scale, including by automated means, except where expressly permitted (for example, our public RSS feed and llms.txt files).
- Use the Service to train machine-learning systems or other models in a way that competes with or substitutes for AI Insiders, except where expressly permitted by our llms.txt and ai.txt files at the document level.
- Reproduce, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of our editorial content without prior written permission. Short excerpts with attribution and a link back are permitted as commentary and quotation.
- Impersonate AI Insiders or any of its operators, contributors, or sponsors, or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation.
- Interfere with, circumvent, or attempt to defeat the security, rate-limiting, or anti-abuse measures of the Service.
- Submit content through any form (sponsor inquiry, newsletter signup) that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or designed to mislead.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Our content
All editorial content on the Site and in the Newsletter, including but not limited to headlines, articles, deks, analysis, featured images, and the Newsletter design, is the original work of AI Insiders and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Service and to share individual article URLs and short attributed excerpts for personal and commentary purposes. All other rights are reserved.
6.2 Third-party references and attribution
AI Insiders is an independent editorial publication. We read primary sources, talk to founders, researchers, and operators, and write our own analysis. Our articles refer to and link to news, research, and developments reported across the industry. Where we reference a primary source, we attribute it by publication name and link, both in the article body and in the structured data attached to the page. We do not claim ownership of any third-party work we reference, and we never present another publication's original reporting as our own.
6.3 Reporting infringement
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@aiinsiders.net with: the URL of the allegedly infringing content; a description of the original work and your ownership or authorisation to act on the owner's behalf; your contact information; and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate. We act on valid notices promptly.
7. Sponsorship
Sponsorship is offered on the terms set out at /sponsor. Submitting an inquiry through the sponsor form does not create a contract and does not commit either party to a placement. A binding sponsorship agreement exists only when we confirm a slot in writing (email) and you accept the agreed pricing, dates, and editorial requirements. We reserve the right to refuse any sponsor inquiry for any reason, including but not limited to fit with our editorial integrity guidelines.
8. Accuracy and corrections
We work to publish accurate, well-attributed editorial. If you believe an article contains a factual error, email hello@aiinsiders.net with a specific reference to the article URL and the error. Corrections are applied within 24 hours of verification and are noted at the bottom of the affected article. The article is not silently re-edited.
9. Third-party links and services
The Service contains links to third-party sites and services we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of those third parties. Your interaction with any linked third-party service is governed by that party's terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AI INSIDERS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any content is accurate, complete, or timely. Nothing on the Service constitutes professional, legal, financial, or investment advice. You are responsible for your own decisions based on the editorial we publish.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AI INSIDERS AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS AND THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100) OR (b) THE AMOUNTS, IF ANY, YOU HAVE PAID TO AI INSIDERS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded as a matter of law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AI Insiders and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 5 through 14) will survive.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. This choice of forum does not deprive consumers of the protection of mandatory provisions in their country of residence, including under the laws of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the Member State in which they live.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced in the Newsletter before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Miscellaneous
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AI Insiders regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely.
17. Contact
