Google is testing a Plugins tab inside the Gemini Enterprise app, according to TestingCatalog. An unfinished build reorganizes the app’s Connectors area into three panels: one for Connectors themselves, one for reusable Skills, and a new one labeled Plugins. That Plugins panel currently holds nothing, which points to a feature still early in development rather than one close to shipping.
TestingCatalog’s Alexey Shabanov writes that the tab’s position suggests each plugin could bundle a Skill together with one or more of those service links, forming a packaged mini-app that business teams could run across company systems without assembling every piece by hand. A separate Notifications section, also incomplete, looks built to collect results from scheduled and queued Gemini tasks.
Google has not confirmed Plugins publicly and has given no release date, list of supported accounts, or named launch partners. Elsewhere in today’s issue, Cursor is rolling out its own Workspace plugins, suggesting that bundling tools into reusable packages is becoming a pattern across agent platforms rather than a move unique to Google.
