Google started rolling out a new batch of Connected Apps for Gemini on September 23, letting the assistant work inside third-party tools instead of just describing what to do in them. The list spans project management (Linear, monday.com, Airtable), creative work (Adobe, Webflow, Squarespace, Picsart), and everyday tasks (Peloton, Experian, SeatGeek, apartments.com), according to Google’s own announcement on the Gemini blog.
The company frames the pitch as fewer tab switches: a user could ask Gemini to check a Linear backlog, start a Webflow design, or find concert tickets on SeatGeek from inside one chat window. Google’s post does not spell out which actions each integration supports beyond that framing, so it is unclear whether these are read-only lookups or full task execution.
Users turn connections on in Gemini’s settings or invoke an app on the fly with an @ mention. This is a company rollout announcement, not an independent report, so the scope claims reflect Google’s own framing.
Teams already routing project or design work through chat assistants should test this against whichever tool already anchors their day.
