Mirendil, the AI startup, has put a product called Lor into private beta, according to the company’s post on X on 28 October 2026. It describes Lor as software meant to do the work of a whole AI lab.
Mirendil says the agents inside Lor already write its own code and run experiments, then keep refining the results for days. It says they work across many machines, with hundreds running at once. Those are the company’s claims about its own workflow. The post links no benchmark or outside test.
The post says nothing about pricing, who can join the beta, or what Lor has produced so far. Mirendil’s X bio says it wants to democratize frontier AI R&D. Its earlier release, Fern, can take in as much as 10 million tokens at once.
Labs that pay for researchers and compute will want one thing before taking this seriously: a result from someone outside Mirendil.
