Developers running cost-sensitive workloads on DeepSeek now have a warning but no table to plan against. Teams with production traffic on the API should model a higher-cost scenario and confirm cached-token discounts survive the change before committing further volume, since neither the size of the increase nor its start date has been disclosed.
