Conductor, the app that lets developers run several AI coding agents in parallel workspaces, is joining Meta, and its hosted version disappears within weeks. The company announced the move in the changelog for version 0.93.0.

The hosted Conductor Cloud turns read-only on 13 November, then closes for good on 20 November. The local Mac app will still pick up support for new models, plus fixes for serious bugs, through early 2027, with nothing promised after that.

Anyone with work in the cloud can right-click a workspace and pick the Transfer to local option to bring it and its chats to a Mac. A full data download lives under Settings, Account, Export data.

Conductor’s changelog gives no price and no terms, and it does not say what Meta plans to do with the team or the product. People who built a daily routine on the cloud version have roughly a week and a half to move off it, and a local app with an end date is a bridge to something else, not a place to settle.

The same release also lists GPT-6.1 Terra among the Codex models and lets users set custom completion sounds.

Reported by Conductor in its changelog on 3 November 2026.
