Cloudflare has shipped version 0.7.0 of @cloudflare/computer, its package that gives an AI agent a workspace for running code. The update targets two ugly failure modes: a deployment or crash that kills a run halfway, and actions that should not happen until a person says yes. Cloudflare’s developer changelog covered it on 26 October 2026.

With the replay setting switched on, an interrupted run starts over from the top. Calls that already finished reuse their saved results instead of repeating, and earlier output is not printed twice. The catch is that a call whose result was never saved before the interruption may run again, even if the action behind it went through. For those, Cloudflare points developers to an unsafeToRepeat() marker.

The approval half runs on custom modules. Any function in them can stop the run until the application delivers a decision, and the changelog’s example holds a GitHub comment until someone approves it. Waiting time does not count against the run’s timeout, and a pending approval survives a deploy.

For anyone building agents on Durable Objects, a human sign-off no longer needs a hand-built queue; the open job is making every side effect safe to repeat.
