Moonshot AI is moving toward a public listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, aiming to complete the process within six months. The Chinese AI lab is targeting a valuation near $30 billion.
The push comes shortly after Moonshot AI shipped Kimi K3, its newest model. A roughly $30 billion ask landing days after a flagship launch suggests the lab is timing the offering to capture peak attention on its technology, rather than waiting for a slower, conventional filing window.
Neither an exact filing date nor underwriters have been disclosed. Yahoo Finance reported the plans on July 19.
For operators tracking China’s AI sector, a $30 billion valuation would become the reference point against which the next wave of Chinese AI listings gets priced.
Yahoo Finance reported Moonshot AI’s Hong Kong IPO plans on July 19, 2026.
