Anthropic has begun admitting people to Claude Code Projects, but only those already in the queue, and only on two paid plans. According to Anthropic’s developer account on X, every Pro and Max subscriber who joined the waitlist has now been let in. The feature remains in beta, and the waitlist stays open for anyone who has not signed up. More subscribers will follow “as capacity allows,” with no schedule attached.

The one substantive detail is how Anthropic defines a project: “an ongoing conversation where Claude coordinates the work for you, running each task as its own thread in parallel.” In plain terms, that separates a single assistant who takes a list of jobs and works down it in order from a coordinator who hands several jobs to separate workers at the same moment and keeps track of all of them.

The post names no price, no capacity figure, and no date for general availability. Until Anthropic supplies one of those, a place in the queue is all the announcement offers.
